The Texas Food Championship is a three-day culinary and entertainment festival packed with nonstop activities. From the moment gates open each morning until the evening headliner concerts, there’s always something happening — whether you’re a competitor, foodie, or festival guest.

Competition Highlights

  • Friday: Kick-off with BBQ chicken, ribs, and dessert turn-ins alongside early culinary competitions. Beverage Tent contests feature Margaritas, Craft Beer, and Texas Whiskey Cocktails.

  • Saturday: The biggest day of competition, including BBQ sausage, pork, wild game, open fire, and the Brisket finale. Additional culinary categories like Chef, Bacon, Catch + Cook, and Dessert keep the action rolling. Beverage Tent features Bloody Marys, Sangria, Tiki Cocktails, and the Mixology Grand Finale.

  • Sunday: Brunch reception, award ceremony, and closing celebrations.

Beverage Tent & Lessons

  • Daily competitions like Margarita Madness, Bloody Mary Brunch Battle, and Texas Whiskey Throwdown.

  • Each paired with an interactive lesson (e.g., Tequila & Mezcal 101, Craft Beer Tasting Basics, Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar, Tiki Cocktail Crafting).

  • Guests can sip, learn, and vote in People’s Choice competitions.

Entertainment & Experiences

  • Live Music on multiple stages all weekend long, from acoustic daytime sets to headline evening concerts.

  • People’s Choice Tastings across BBQ and culinary categories so the audience gets to judge too.

  • Local Vendors, Demos & Family Activities fill the grounds to ensure there’s always something to see, do, and taste.
